It’s Official! I am a Guinness World Record Holder!

On 25th/26th May, I attempted and beat the world record for the number of countries visited in 24 hours using only scheduled transport. I set foot in 12 countries in 23 hours and 52 minutes. It was a record that hadn’t been broken for 23 years!

It has taken quite a while to gather sufficient evidence and for Guinness World Records to consider my claim, but this evening I finally received the email I have been waiting for!

Guiness World Records Email

I AM NOW OFFICIALLY A GUINNESS WORLD RECORD HOLDER!

It’s already live on their website and whilst there certainly isn’t space any more for every world record to be featured, I’m really hoping it’ll make it into the Guinness Book of World Records for 2018.

Again, thanks so much to everyone for all their support and for all the donations made to my chosen charity, Sands. I set out with a target of £250 and managed to raise an amazing amount of nearly £1500!

It was an incredible adventure. I beat a world record, raised a huge amount for charity and hit the news in 35 countries across 4 continents.

Here’s how it all happened!
